It was a sarcastic remark and the swimmers have flopped like the athletics...they both need dedicated centres like the velodrome in manchester,get them all to live in a 30mile radius to be eligible for the funding...worked well for the cyclists hasnt it.

Not a moan at all....was glad we won the 3 in the stadium but the way they dominated the sunday press was O/T as all the golds were worthy of each other.The thletics has been pretty naff for us...how many was injured coming into it?

Watching events that you dont normally watch and remarking on "what a clean tidy snatch" has been my highlight.

Loved watching her fight today and was made up when she won our first ever TKD Gold at an Olympics. I did TKD myself a few years ago and got as far as Blue Belt which adds a little extra interest for me.

I agree with the dressage being hard, and respect what they did to get gold, But when i think of Olympics i think of people training really hard, Putting in hours at gyms, pools ect.. pushing there bodies to the max and using that not on a horse? If your know what i mean by that...

I was very sceptical in the build up, especially the torch relay. But 2 weeks ago I sat down ready for the disappointment of the opening show and was absolutely blown away.

Could be a very emotional night - Sarah Stevenson from Doncaster going for gold in taekwondo. She lost both parents to terminal illness in the last year.

Olympics have been fantastic, loved and watched every minute of it. Our athletes have performed astonishingly well and the british public have helped to make the event a massive success. Some of the performances from TeamGB have been amazing, especially the unexpected ones.

Would love to see Sarah Stevenson and Tom Daly get medals, both had it tough with losing parents.

I don't think anyone's questioned the commitment that goes into becoming an olympian, just because people have worked hard at and it takes skill doesn't mean we have to enjoy watching it, certain sports simply do not lend themselves to being good spectator sports.

Just because your enjoying everything doesn't mean everyone else has to, nor does it mean they respect the sports any less, lighten up ffs.

Absolutely loved these Olympics - had little interest in it up until the Opening Ceremony but since then - WOW!

The dedication, hard work and passion they have for their individual events is inspiring.

I believe they are one and the same, they should combine the Able and EAD sports in one long programme.

Sadly, Sarah Stevenson's hopes of gold are over but she could still get a bronze.

Watching the fight and listening to her interviews I get the impression that her heart's not really in it. Which is totally understandable given what she's been through.
