Problem is we are in need of one centre at least and who of any real quality is actually available?

I'm not that up to speed on Arundel as to how good he is etc but with Turner he has improved under the new Coaching set up either by improving his own game or by the way we are now playing or both. So I don't see any reason why from what I've seen Gentle do with a team that Agar did nothing at all with, why Arundel can't along with Crooks be honed under the coaching staff into a more than decent centre.

If Sam goes and rumours that O'Meley on his way too then we need some quality forwards to replace these guys with as it showed against Leeds when our forwards get on top and lay a platform for the likes of Seymour to dictate play etc.

It seems Gentle is in it for the long haul building for a run of success not a flash in the pan win here and there and to do that we need young players on longish deals so we can plan on moving forward.

I'd like to see a quality FB come in if I'm honest as McKinnon showed what we have been missing and how a decent FB can change a game, plus I think we need another half along with replacements Moa & O'Meley if they go.

I am sure though that with Adam Pearson, Peter Gentle & Bomber we won't be just making up the numbers and won't let us down.

Big surprise that cas fans slating Arundel, fans always see the negatives when they announce they are leaving, I'm sure many thought Owen was better than Eden when he left, I know who I would rather have.

Look at the improvement turner and sharp has shown under our coaching staff, hopefully Arundel will improve as much as them.

Stand out performer?Did you actually watch him last year? apart from a televised interception try against Catalans he was mostly anonymous all season,just recovering from shoulder surgery at 20 too,Darryl Clark was the priority,not Arundel.

Strange isn't it here we are signing a player that most Cas fans don't rate and it seems are glad to see the back of and yet they're all on here telling us about it as if they need to re-itterate the fact that he is mediocre at best etc etc AND then when one Cas fan comes on and says how good he is they're back to shoot him down.I think all the signs point to this kid being good myself! You can do little better than signing good young Knights players on long contracts, youth from this country is undoubtably the future of our game!

Whatever any of them say is irrelevant Pete, i trust Gentle`s judgement rather than their`s, when we signed Aspinwall people questioned why, but he has proved to be a good signing and i am sure Arundel will as well, and given some good coaching from Gentle i believe he will develop into a top quality centre for both Hull FC and England in the years to come.

I trust Andy Hays judgement who will know him better than anybody else associated with us.

Never said worst did I. He's that good Saints are desperate to get shut and have replaced him with Jordan Turner.

Well thats not hard is it?, as Arundel is still injuried, but i did say that Arundel had more potential and deffo better value for money.

Who has slated arundel ??? He's a decent player, not hard to replace but decent. If we get shenton on whatever wage he adds something more than arundel would. You get a project centre we get an improvent. Win win. What do you want us to say, he's better than inglis ???

cas must have some fantastic players waiting in the wings or coming up through the ranks if they don't see arundel as a loss, guess with them flying high in the league, they won't miss him!

Has huge potential. Will do really well with Gaz Ellis, And is moving for the right reasons.

Unlike some of our squad, Joe doesn't go out drinking. A few times a year, He doesn't try and be a playboy, He has a solid relationship, His head is screwed on, His feet are on the ground and he is determined to make the most of his career.
