Well done on the win yesterday. Fantastic turn out from Hull fc fans, easily the most we've had from any Hull side in my time as a fan. I know there was the incident with Owen, but all it takes is 1 idiot (i'm about the fan not Owen

) but you lot have a great sense of humour like a beer & know your stuff. Think you'll only get better as a team too throughout the season. Thought it was a good game but our usual defensive inabilities cost us with the likes of McGoldrick and Griffin unable to produce a routine tackle more often then not.


As for Chase, top of the try assists board for a team at the foot of the league, not bad for a greedy player!

Isn't that exactly the point. He has more assists than anyone else due to the fact he feels the need, and has to do it all himself and hence be greedy. Class player though imo

Could do with Mr Chase avoiding the ban. Think he'll cop a 2 game ban if its as serious as earlier posters have made out. He wouldn't of whacked Whiting for no reason but then again that's not condonable.

the only reason he whacked whiting was because whiting out smarted him in the tackle!

Missed the biff, but Whiting got Chase with a quick marker tackle and dumped him on the ground. Perhaps Chase took offence at being tackled?

I did notice a Cas player dragging Whiting away, presumably to protect Chase

Chase showed yesterday that he's as petulant as he is brilliant, he didn't like the fact he got owned in the tackle so lashed out, a hell of a player but also the potential to be a liability.

Congratulations on a good win and a great following (about 3.5k by my reckoning) had a good laugh with your fans today as always.

Regarding the owen incident i didnt see it myself but was told the same story from 3 different cas fans and a hull fan. Apparently some 40 year old bloke in a hull shirt threw a pint over a 15 year old kid, owen saw this and reacted. The pint thrower was given lots of abuse by the fc fans nearby and promptly scarpered.

Has martin finished a game yet?seems to come of later in the second half, if he is not fit why play him, we have crooks playing well in the 20s, fit has a fiddle, so lets give martin a rest and give young crooks a chance.

Martin and Aspinwall are both doing a hell of a lot better than I'd anticipated, we're building week on week at the moment, Crooks will get his chance but, as the saying goes "if it aint broke" and all that.

Chase gave Whiting a facial after Whiting tackled him and then got up, squared up to him and punched him.
If the RFL disciplinary panel are consistent, he'll be getting a ban.
Think Cas would need him, to to stand any chance againt dobbins.

think Chase reacted due to Whiting applying undue pressure to his leg, both the scuffle and Whiting's caution for undue pressure happened in the 39th minute
