1. Why are Arundel and Cudjoe in amongst the prospective wingers?
2. No sh*t someone like Lyon would improve the squad, just how exactly do you propose we attract one of those under the cap?
3. Do you really think Johnson is a better prop than Moa (I'm someone who has advocated signing him as a replacement should Moa go, but I wouldn't pick him over Moa at all)?
4. Why is Whitehead in there too? A) We're well stocked with backrowers and you're saying to let a prop go to get him; and B) He signed a 4 year deal last week.

In another forum it was said apparently Manu is not part of our plans for next season and that he will be approached by another super league coach...i hope this isn't true!

Given that both Gentle and Pearson have singled out Manu (and Tickle) for praise this week, I find that doubtful.

Sorry if it's been mentioned already but it sounded like Gollum's interview was trying to suggest that the 'project' tag was disrespectful and was probably goiung to drive Sam from the club, yet when Sam's interview was played I didn't get any sense of that.

I was listening too and I fail to see how the 'project' tag was disrespectful. Moa did arrive overweight and lacking in first team experience, so he was a project/apprentice. This tag hasn't been used for a good 2 years now, so I fail to see what Radio Roverside were getting at.

For a prop to cover the loss of Moa and/or O'Meley, both Burgess (Bulls) and Cooper (Warrington) are OOC at the end of 2012. Both have age on their side (Burgess is 19, Cooper is 23) as well as good potential/ability, and are both British. What would people think about either of those? I'd prefer them to Johnson at Wakey who is getting on a bit now.


As for the other areas of the squad, Soliola is also OOC at the end of this season. A bit of a fanciful thought, but he'd be good for the right-centre spot!

Like I said keep away from the recruiment at Hull FC and you have still failed to mention these props who are better than Moa which are available.

Kopczak is a better player now then Moa so will be alot better in a couple of years, I am sure there are good quota and non quota players available that I don't have the knowledge about but I am sure Gentle does.

I don't think he was saying you were a moron because you criticised a player, I think it was a more a combination of choosing to criticise one of our best players this year, suggesting we replace some of our better players, claiming that there a suitable replacements who will be cheaper, and then only suggesting players who are either in the wrong position, worse than we have, or completely unrealistic.

I think Paul Dobbs is using the short version of his name. He's actually called Paul Dobbins.

It's to early to name a better player who is available as no one knows who will be available at this early stage, nearer the time I think we will sign a different winger who will offer us more then Sharp for next season. We will see who is right nearer the time.

Manu will stay. Next season Ellis, Tickle and Westy starting back three. Manu on bench to come on as impact.

what about injuries with manu tickle and westy we have no room for whiting aspinwall or ellis playing back row this season
