By all accounts the club and council put a lot of effort into the bid. I would have thought that the KM would be a good venue as it is not exactly heartland but is close enough to them to get a decent crowd, and as you have mentioned i live there as well.

Seriously doubt that, after the NZ v England 4 Nations, I reckon 20,000+ venues will be chosen, so my money's on Galpharm & KC

Just looked through the list again, would be astounded if there wasn't a game based in London during the world cup so that opens a number of grounds for the SF / Final.

I think the KC will get one of the Semi's as well as a group game, but it may well depend on the schedule for the Tigers, likewise I see the same for the DW, can't set dates/times etc. until the 2012/13 football season is in swing. (or 2013/14)???

actually, that makes no sense, the KC has already been selected for a group game, so the RFL obviously have some other shenanigans going on as far as the S/F and final are concerned.
