Martin surely can't have been the answer. Even if they are prioritising the pack, Tony Martin will not offer anything new IMO.

I just don't get this signing whatsoever. I am expecting a big forward signing now, I suspect Martin will have come pretty cheap.

I hope this signing indicates that Turner will be given the number 3 shirt next year, with Martin being signed as backup should things not work out, or if an 'old head' is needed on that flank (particularly in defense).

The back end of this season Turner looked good, scored and set up a few trys. His build is perfectly suited to the centre spot, and maybe a full off season training in that position will do him the world of good.

Martin will be able to pass on a few things to him, particularly positioning in defense (which I think is his main weakness).

People need to realise it's only a 1 year deal, meaning the club are waiting to see if Turner matures, or waiting for a top class centre to become available. He's a stop gap (just like Phelps was) which will provide much needed backup should either centre get injured.

Not necessarily, sometimes signings are made just to add depth to the squad. Mr Bartos describes the best possible scenario IMO.

not at all, I quite agree with the general malaise about this signing, Hay/Radford as assistants I can take on merit and see how it goes, but surely a leaky defender with a poor try scoring record isn't the best we can do with an owner who said he was happy "to invest my money on fees if necessary", add that to the removal of the voucher exchange and the farce of the chosen 400 for the first forum and I am underwhelmed.

What I do not believe is that AP is in cahoots with Allam in any way shape or form, and I hope I am proven right.

I'd be very surprised if Martin wasn't first choice centre
