Not necessarily as it depends who instigated the departure, if Agar decided he was leaving at the end of the season why would the club pay him any compensation?

I believe there is what is called a compromise agreement and Agar is receiving a payment but not the full amount due under the remaining year of his contract.

I will be sorry to see him go. He has a done a good job for us and had some very good games. However he does take up a quota spot which could be better used elsewhere.

If so I think he has been a great additin to the squad and will miss him, although like others have said with the options we now have in the halves and at hooker next year he would be a luxury and someone we could easily move on as Wakey want him back.o

By keeping Obst you will only limit the chances that Ellis and Nicklas will get so he has to go imo as he simply is not needed

For me weve got Houghton and Heremaia for hooker who can both play the full eighty if one gets an injury then Horne and Seymour as starting halfs with Nicklas and Ellis as back up. Obst doesnt fit in anywhere now

hornes never a 7,ellis and nicklas are unproven.

Thats what I meant,one minute we are struggling for that position,next we have players to cobble dogs.

He would be great as cover just feel the thing hindering him is the overseas spot he has and stops us using it elsewhere
