I don't think anything is particularly 'bad' if it's eaten in moderation and at the right time (though I wouldn't touch the stuff myself). However, straight after a game isn't, in my mind, the right time for a pro sportsman to be chowing down on deep fried, breaded chicken, with large fries and coke.

Nowadays, the individual training regimes, the diets and overall professionalism of the Hull FC team (and other SL teams) is extremely good.

So occasionally, the team coach is overtaken by supporters. So what? Perhaps the management are looking to save money in these austere times. How much does it cost to put the team, reserves and other staff up for the night? And do we know whether the Hull team go over a day early for the longer distances such as Quins, Wigan, Wire etc but not for the closer ones? Perhaps they should stay over in Hull somewhere for the derby (there's a nice hotel in Shorpe I think)?

No, but seeing them as a team all in the pool yesterday under the watchful eye of their coach, the stories from when Paleeasina was told to shed weight before last season, and the obvious departure of Gleeson for breaching their code of conduct.

I think people are trying to understand what the issues at FC might be, it's good that these rumours come out and then are refuted or exposed as incorrect.

And we've dismissed a number of players for breaching [iour[/i code of conduct. And had players lose weight. Pretty sure we've used a pool at some point as well.
