I think everyone knew the risks when we signed Long, and upto now it's not worked out....however I still think we should keep him till the end of the year....yes we have Obst but if Long goes we are back to where we have been....no back up halves if Obst/Horne get injured.

Having watched about 90% of the games Long has played for FC, one thing that has struck me is his clear and open frustration at the lack of quality he was used to at Saints..next time he breaks the line and he has no support, just watch him.

long has been pants since the day after we played saints away over a year ago...that day in the fog, he looked a world beater...now he looks like an egg beater....

As for us he onnly looks cack here cos of the half @r$ed efforts of so called Hull FC players.

Long and/or Agar have taken a bit of stick for signing Long but don't forget one of the benefits of him playing for us was that he can aid the development of our younger playmakers...has this happened?

For me, the only 2 decent performances by the team were when Long wasn't in it. Says it all for me.

So Longy has moved back to Wigan, 140 mile round trip for training / games, crazy, thats comitment to the cause for you, like i said weeks ago on here, he was unhappy here and wanted out, we should do all we can to offload him asap.

i get the distinct impression that lng isnt training everyday..i could be wrong but thats one hell of a commute 4-5 times a week.......
