If we were talking about off-record comments then I'd have no problem with that. But when you suggest that the club would be stupid enough to post a complete falsehood on it's website and also deliberately torpedo tonights live coverage then I'm afraid that I find that remarkably unlikely. Especially as KCFM have taken no action to correct the alleged misinformation posted by the club.

Occam's Razor suggests that your contact, safely off the record, was spinning you a line.

The club's version of events also fits quite neatly with something I was told months ago following the takeover by LincsFM.

If true, the club has effectively libelled KCFM. They've done some daft things over the years, but openly posting libel on their website would be way beyond previous efforts.

I completely understand what your saying and where your coming from Kosh,but I was told last week that the forum was not being broadcast live and just took it as being a delayed broadcast as the last one was.As I said the person who told me about the coverage for the forth coming season was excited by what was being put together and he said as a Hull and rugby fan I would enjoy what was being put together and no disrespect to the board at Hull and I respect how they have turned the club around from the dark days of 99 I would always believe what this person is telling me over what aybody else has to say

I just find it hard to believe that the club would post such an unambiguous statement if it was false. I also find it hard to believe that they would just walk away from a long standing and successful partnership with KCFM. Plus I know there were some issues with the RL coverage that led, among other things, to the departure of DDD.

I guess if your contact's version of events is true we'll find out soon enough.

I'm sorry but you were told wrong, it was going out live, all FC Voices announcements up until this morning were a 6.45pm for a 7pm start, hell, the club only found out last night ffs!! The last one wasn't a delayed broadcast, rather an edited version of the two forums that were held on the P & O Ferry because KCFM couldn't change their broadcasting schedule for a Sunday.

Very interested to see what the club come up with, all sounds very exciting. Never fussed with KCFM anyway and hardly ever tuned in.

Just been confirmed that KCFM are dropping Rovers coverage as well. Wonder if they'll carry on with City?

As i understand it both Hull and Rovers were asking too much money for the coverage. Not sure about City.

They were still advertising "Match Day Live" for Saturdays QPR game when I had it on in car last night.

No he was on the original board of KC FM but they were bought out by Lincs FM.

Anything that removes the plank Chadwick from the airwaves is a good thing.

Think i've only ever listened to KCFM once in all the time it's been on air. I prefer Blunderside and that's saying something.

From what I've been told about KCFM's attitude to spending on any aspect of sports coverage, for 'too much money' you could read 'any money at all'.
