Love Band of Brothers,Life on Mars.
Two American ones worth a watch both star Simon Baker.
The Mentalist, and also the Guardian really enjoyed these.think they are currently repeating them on Bravo or FX.
Soprano's goes without saying. I have the first 3 seasons of 24 and guess what ! Ive never seen a single episode,must get round to watching it.
Scrubs is very funny and also Two and a Half Men.
