His personality, attitude etc are one thing, that specific demand at Celtic's another and it wasn't £75,000 as is claimed on here. But then I'm not sure why it matters all that much other than showing people will believe almost anything that's hinted at in the press when there are far worse/better examples of expensive decisions at the club but the media don't find them as tempting for some reason.
