EXPRO, its his way or no way, at least Jake gives a more reasoned response, EXPRO is just Agars ace, teams 4th what more do we want!! theres no reasoning with the superior knowledge of the EXPRO!!!

TBH i don't think JTP has been that bad lately!
Also, anyone who thinks he's a dobbin is making a fool of themselves, as i pointed out the other day.
I don't agree with a lot of what he says and have had many a "run in" with him, but to call him a rovers fan just because he doesn't like the way the club is run at the minute is just childish.

Fair enough, but in the last week he's started threads either directly or indirectly criticising various aspects of the club with opening posts as follows.:

This is before nonsense about our "old" squad and the personal squabbles he gets into. He posted nothing about our pretty good performance against Harlequins AFAIK, but did choose to post about Saints in a thinly veiled dig at our club. Given that we are 4th in the table having finished 12th last year, to post almost entirely negatively on all aspects of FC's operation does provide scant defence against accusations of red-and-whiteness IMO.

I think a lot of those questions are very valid tbh.

I'm not denying they are valid questions. But the relentless negativity, getting on for one new critical thread per day, on a fans forum is somewhat wearing. Fans are generally partisan, supporters of their club's actions. We've done pretty well this season in comparison to the last 2. 4th at the moment and in the play-offs. Generally speaking the fans want to enjoy the last month of our best season in the last 3 (not saying much I know) and look forward to the play-offs - it's a long winter after all. He can be a moaning pessimist, that's his right, but he can't slag off the likes of Expro and expect not to get any back, that's ridiculous.

To be fair to jake he,s not that bad compared to this old guy who sits near us, he,s a great old lad and he,s really funny sometimes probabley been going to fc for the past 50 years or more but as soon as they run out its agars fault, drop the ball agars fault, knock on agars fault, linesman didnt put his flag up agars fault etc etc, even after a good game and we have played well he,ll say i still dont think agars the right man! ive tried giving him toffee,s, chewing gum, winegums. boiled sweets hoping it,ll keep him quite but to no avail any suggestions would be welcome but no rude ones cause as i said he,s a lovely old guy and i do like him.

Deary me. I think you'll find that I go on the offensive when people have a go at me which is fair enough IMO.

This board has always been a place where peoples opinions have differed which is fair enough and it has always resulted in the odd spat, which has usually died down pretty quickly.

The recent significant escalation in the childishness has co-incided with a recent "joinee" who seems to believe that anyone who doesn't agree with him is fair game for some playground humour. I find him quite funny. He's obviously here for a reason and is trying to ridicule and undermine anyone who dares to question agar or the club in general. Then we have the one or two who feel they need to join in and back him up out of fear they may be on the end of some of his vitriol themselves.

Personally, I couldn't care less what people think of me or my opinions on here. I'll carry on posting what I believe to be the situation and if people don't like it then by all means feel free to disagree. If you don't really have a reasoned response then just call me a dobbin and I'm sure you'll feel better about life

I'm very honoured that you've taken the time to dig up some of my threads. You obviously hold me in the same high regard as zod and gml and for that I am eternally grateful.

Apologies for not commenting on the quins game, but I didn't attend and couldn't even listen to the game due to another engagement. Next time I will remember that you need me to give my thoughts, even though I may have nothing to base them on.

As to my posts, then you'll read in to them what you want. Some of them are discussion points about the club and the season, one is about how well the best club in the SL have successfully managed change (a model we should be looking to emulate I'm sure you would agree) and the other is a piece of information about a former great player, who I never believed should have been appointed in the 1st place (dig out the original threads and have a look). Incidentally, you forgot the one about jason robinson, which I'm sure you could have reasonably argued was a dig at the club for letting some 30 something injury prone player pass them by. At least my posts try and make points rather than constantly trying to score them.
