were a way off dead in the water but i did say a while back that injuries would have their say at this point, however remember that we are starting to get a few bodies back now too in the near future so not all lost .
MC was missing for best part of the season so we have already compensated for him.
RW is one of those you cant even begin to plan for .
Omeley, Maybe Long and fitz to come back in as well so not all doom and gloom but this weekend may be a match to early for us and one we will look to limit damage in I think so it will not be pretty against Wigan at all however the Qunis , Crusaders matches are targets still and then warrington leeds will be looking to wembley so not all lost yet , dont look for pretty this weekend though because it will not happen ....

Hopefully it will be another Warrington type peformance from the lads.
We were outstanding in that game and really took it to them despite missing several players.

I agree, you know even with Fitz, Omeley , RW and Calderwood missing there is still a lot of top class players were fielding and all off the back of a massive confidence booster of a win against HKR

Good post, don't think all is lost for Friday just yet, hopefully no suspensions. Lets not forget that their coach has had to go back to Aus, I wonder if that will have an impact?

I am sure it will have a huge impact Paul, these things generally do .. Like I said i think its about evens at present with Wigan slighly the edge in playing rosta but we have a huge crowd hopefully which will even it up for us !
I think Hame could well be MOM this weekend , he is due a big one!!

Think more around the 12k mark. With the game being on Sky and with a couple more injuries it will put a few of the walk ups off coming, along with the fact that the chances of us winning are slim to none

You dont fancy your chances then ? your the home side and you have only lost one game at KC all year.

Derby games are a different kettle of fish and many times the underdog has won or pulled a performance out of the bag.




I don't think anyone really fancies our chances with Whiting ruled out and Calders out again it means we are likely to revert to playing with a halfback combo that does not work and most likely a prop at loose man again. When you couple that with your form over the season it looks like mission impossible. I will be going expecting the worse and hoping for the best though

Like someone else said if we can put in the type of display we did against Warrington at Easter then i will be happy with that. (We lost that one but played reasonably well considering injuries)

We're down to the bare bones injury wise though. It would be the stuff of legend if we actually pull off a win. A committed, passionate performance is all I'm hoping for - anything else would be a massive bonus.

We have beat a much better Wigan side with a worst team than we have now in the past, hopfully we wont get any bans and we have a chance.

Mcguire not being there might have a big effest on them.

Cant see us winning but you never know.

We have 5 first team players out through injury. That's 5 players who, if fit, would play every game - not just squad players. That includes our scrum half, best prop, influential loose forward, only proper winger, and main utility player. If we pick up a couple of bans tonight we will be missing our other impact prop plus a second rower who is also our only goal kicker at the moment.

So no - I can't say that I'm at all confident.

About evens i think , they have a bag of walking wounded also !! and a mega tough match just past!

We've lost twice at home if you count the cup defeat to Leeds.

The truth is we rarely do any good against Wigan.
