Horne can't get a side around the parkfrom second reciever never mind first.

Definitley not a natural 7 like Long and never will be but he could play there like he did with Cooke without weakening other key positions by shifting players into the halves.

When he 'played' at 7 with Cooke he played like the stand off which he is.

Leave Tansey were he is and Play an underachieving hooker at Scrum Half, he has played there before ( didnt they win premiership that year). Think it could work quite well personally

But he wouldn't be playing with Cooke it would be a young lad making his first apperence in the halves.

Berrigan was the hooker for Brisbane when they won the Premiership. Keep him as the utility player on the bench.

in 2006 berrigan won the Clive churchill medal at 9.

He's not a 7 and to expect houghton to play 80 mins the rest of the season would be a error

I'd be tempted to leave Tansey at fullback, he won't have the same freedom at scrum half. I would play Horne at 6 and Berro at 7, Washy off the bench to come on and play 9 when Houghton needs a spell. If it does not work then try the Tansey option with Whiting at fullback.

It's a fair point. Does Whiting drop out of the 13 though if Calders is back fit? (can we carry Whiting and Washy on the bench?)

It's about winning games not a popularity contest.

If Calderwood is to be brough back then someone has to miss out, it would be either Whiting of Washy with the other from the bench, assuming Berro is at 7. Agar could well go with Washy and Horne with Berro off the bench. Then it's a straight choice between Whiting and Calderwood.

From what Agar said it's likely to be a non-conversation for Bradford as he wants Calders to have a game in the 20s but he is likely to be back for Wakey if he comes through it. Choices to make at that time.

Agree! As you say there is a plan B if that does not work but see no reason why it shouldnt.

He did a few times in 2008 with a very poor support cast BDT. Its not perfect but we dont have a reserve scrum half.

Fair enough but in my eyes Tansey is developing into a fine full back especially in the attacking sense and it would hinder him moving infield and reduce his effectiveness. Tansey is a bit of a maverick which must be a nightmare to defend against and sometimes frustrating when things go wrong but I just can't see him making the right decisions consistently enough from scrum half. We will see.

Not seen enough from Nicklas to suggest he will be a super league half back TBH.

If Berro was at 7 he would have Horne alongside side of him and Fitz at 13 which to me would bring an experienced brains trust to get us around the park.
