Now list next to them the head coaches and you will realise that the assistants don't need a great deal of experience. Our coaching set-up is cheap as a whole not just in regard to the assistant
When Wire realised that James Lowes couldn't cut it they went out and paid good money for a top coach. Agar and Webster is a combination similar to Lowes and Webster because Agar is an assistant at best and needs replacing with a Top Coach which this club should have based on its revenue |

Agar has a lot more first grade experience as a coach than Mcguire of Wigan.
I know which coach I would rather have.

I agree with you but my point was that No club pays big money for assistant coaches |

Who knows, but 2 assistant coaches have left the club after very short periods of time. Seems to me Agar would be very happy with a yes man, but I may be wrong.

Is he a cheap option? He's 30 years old, not injury plagued in any way, yet you've managed to persuade him to end his playing career to become an assistant coach. Sounds to me like you've put quite an attractive package together for him.

Not like he will have been on great money at Widnes. At the end of the day i bet he is a cheaper option than Moore was. |

I'm not convinced. Always knew he'd go into coaching, he did the business when he temporarily took over the reigns at Rovers, but very surprised he's wrapped playing in already to do it. A player's career is short at best, it'd take a bloody good offer to tempt me to give it up at 30. |

He may have realised his best days are past him and he would rather be coaching for similar money rather than getting knocked about on the pitch. He may also have realised that Agar is on shaky ground and with our history he may just get a shot at the top job soon enough  |
