Whiting could stay in the es or wing as hes looked his best there and with Washy i dont think he has a future here with im sorry to say as he could be a fantastic prospect and if Tickle leaves with he may that would give Burnett a place but that would mean we have to get Fitz to sign his extention or we wouldent have a world class goal kicker.

Heard the Westerman rumour yesterday.Would be suprised us going for another backrower,unless Fitz and Tickle leave.

If its true about westerman and lms then i believe they would great signings, i would get rid of cusak and radders. i would have tickle and fitz in the second row with westerman at loose, manu and luaki coming of the bench for impact, ogre and dowes starting and lms on the bench once again for impact, also that allows plenty of cover during the game, just a top quality centre would then be needed.

I like your thinking, though i doubt it would happen. If we was to play a Westerman type at 13 we might aswell just use Washy. Then we could take Shenton instead

iv said for a long time washy should be our starting 13, and i believe many agree, he is not a 6 or 7, if wasy played 13 now fitzy play second row it would allow fitzy to be interchanged more, and yes shenton would be a top addition, for some reason why is agar the only one who doesnt see washy as a 13, imo he reminds me of a young jason smith, hasnt got speed but finds time on the ball, with good ball skills, also speaking of , how bout youg darrell goulding of wigan he can also play extremely well on the wing and when amos and phelps are back he doesnt really have a place, unsure on contract tho.

I dont think there would be many teams out there who wouldn't want LMS or Westerman on their books.

the thing with westerman is he could quite easily play in the halves far better then washy, and at a push coul even play a stint at centre, really good addition imo.

Westerman would be a great addition. good player IMO

just because he has been quiet this season, don't mean you turn crap overnight

I have a sneaky feeling that the reason agar was given an extended contract was because he'd negotiated for westerman to sign. Just hope we don't end up with even more back rowers next year and no backs

That's a pretty short sighted reason for a 2 year deal! Now if it was Westerman and Shenton.

wouldn't be surprised at that.would both be excellent signings,and if the 'rumours' are to be 'slightly' believed,westerman is eager to come to hull for next season.if he does,i believe fitz will go,creating a quota space for another position.shenton had a rough time,in the internationals,a bit like briscoe,but i would have him.who would you prefer at centre-hall or shenton????

Shenton if i'm honest, is a better all round centre IMO. Don't see Hall improving much more.

cant see fitzgibbon going, and to be honest i would want him to, imagine the player westerman could be with him around, like i said westeman can play loose with fitzy in second row giving him more rest time with inerchanges, also westerman at a push and if needed can play several positions, i would offer fitzy 1 year deal if not, then definatley a coaching role, i think he is that important.

Shenton is a marginally better defender, but Hall is a bigger attacking threat imo.

Westerman is a better player than Washbrook. He would be a great signing in a years time when Fitzgibbon will probably go.

That's how I'd hope our second row would be next season, same as this, unless Westerman would be prepared to wait a year in and out of the side. The other option is to move Fitzgibbon to second row and drop one of Tickle, Manu or Lauaki but them three are currently better than Westerman.

I wouldnt touch Westerman.

I'd be looking at somehow re-shaping our full front row with Dowes, Radford and Cusack to exit. Not sure how we'd do it as i dont think the quality is out there to make the wholesale changes. If we kept Dowes and Radford we'd need to bring a really special prop in as O'Meley cant keep carrying our go forward.

I think McCarthy Scarsbrook would plug that gap and why wouldn't you go near Westerman ?

Agree with you on that they aren't enough quality props available though.

I dont rate Westerman as any better than Whiting and Washy at 13 or 6. He had a great first year on the scene and is now showing himself to be an average and inconsistent player imo.

Not as good as Whiting I agree but I think he's a better player than Washbrook at both 6 and 13, more creative and faster at 6, stronger and bigger at 13.

Not sure he'd bring anything.
