True Morgan can lift his side more than seemingly agar and sharp have been able to do in recent years, if we win it, it maybe more todo with the players than the coach.

Im not so sure that Morgan does get our team fired up alot more than you guys, he has just been tactically so much better than his opposite.

I think Rovers will sorely miss Cooke for the Derbies. This is definitely one that can go either way as with all Derbies but without Cooke involves I think the balance tips slightly more FC's way.

We need more cover for our wingers thats our weakness ,Dobson will just bomb them all afternoon .
I noticed when were defending Longy goes to the and Yeaman steps one in,if rovers get the wide runners running at him to tire him out .

Let's face it, Dobson is far weaker in defence than Long so if we run it at him it will pay dividends. Also they are going to be light in the experienced winger dept so will be just as worried about Long, Horne and Tansey kicking to their wingers. Even if Fox plays his attack is his strength, defence and fielding high balls his weaknesses.

Fox aint bad under a high ball at all, think he went through a dodgy spell last season but it never lasted long, alot of players go through this.

Horneys kicking game was much improved in his last 3 or 4 games before his injury, so much so i think we scored quite a few tries from his kicks. Plus his tactical kicking was also much better.

Is Fox playing? rated 50/50 could prove to be a gamble?

Indeed, we've been saying it for a while, even more so now Judas is no longer there, there is nobody playing for KR that FC wanted to keep for the salary they wanted.

Dont get me wrong would love to see us win and O'Meley flatten Newton...over-rated to$$er he is....but end of day...still another match and still only 2pts on offer and a added bonus...if we do lose...that useless get we have for a coach may be nearer going.

of course it's another match, but, bragging rights are an important thing to have, would be nice to be dishing it out at work rather than being on the recieving end, thats why it is a more important game than the others we play

Spot on, and borne out by James Webster's comments comparing the Agar and Morgan's preparation and pre-match planning IMO. Morgan is far more specific about gameplanning and detailed expectations of each player in the game. Agar's instructions are more in the "if you see it, play it, have a good dig" sort of bracket.

I know you rate Morgan quite highly Mrs B, however I am not so sure, maybe his game plans are more specific but he has not developed any outstanding players (the same as Agar), if he dislikes a player they are not included (same as Agar), and so far he has won nothing (the same as Agar).

I am worried about Agar no doubts there, But Morgan is not the messiah many believe he is,Morgans selections have started to be as baffling as Agars

It will be a factor imo, especially with our away form being dodgy.

I agree he's fairly hit and miss in his development of players and has made quite a few errors of judgement in signing players then getting rid of them well before their contract expires - eg Ward, Gannon, Crossman, Cooke, Mills (if he could, anyway) off the top of my head. But the specific point I was replying to was Pupkin's thoughts on Morgan being a superior tactician, which I agree with and think is a key reason behind their 7/10 derby record and 4th place finish last year. I don't think either are Grade A club coaches in all honesty.

Providing we get reasonably swift play the balls then the dobbin pack will run out of steam after 50-60 min and Hull should pull away. Of course plenty can go wrong but on the whole Hull's performances have been far superior and the Wigan game aside they always been competitive (that doesn't mean they weren't terrible against Crusaders and Salford but even those were close). It would be a terrible disappointment to lose to the dobbins as they would be losing to a poor team.
