I'm sure a lot would, it just gets you thinking that there is thread after thread slagging the HKR team, fansand board off even on this thread yet the blinkered few seem to missing the point that as a club we are assisting the RH testimonial fund by playing this game in the first place or is that me missing the point.

all threads go that way, if were lucky we might have 15 mins openly and truthfully discussing something.

TBF I wouldn't specifically go and support the testimonial of many non-FC players but if FC were playing against a team in a testimonial I would go and be happy to contribute.

Just on Horneys testimonial, Does anyone think both teams will play it with full first teams or will it be a 15-20 minute run out for most and hundreds of swaps and changes ?

Doubt it, think both teams may start with a reasonable first team presence and then will give most of the squad a run out and play a few of the reserves to give them a taste of a derby. Would be silly to play it as a full blooded derby with the season kick off so soon after it. (or will they limit each team to naming and sticking to a 17?)

I asked as I wondered with it being a slightly heated derby as you say would each team be completely leaving some of their bigger names out ?

Not sure, is this Hulls only home friendly? if it is I would have thought they'd want to roll out the new faces (and the ones who never played a lot last year, lauiki etc) for the fans to get a first view of.

I would expect us to play most of the first team but Dobson and Briscoe (both had / having small off season ops i believe) may not feature much.

I have an alter ego called Billy Goat Gruff who occasionally visits the HDM but I just really don't have the time any more. Had some great fun with trolls though while I was at it. there are lots of numpties on there but there are occasionally some funny b*ggers from both sides.

Surely thats our choice as well.....indeed it is rare for a player to do 10yrs at 1 club and i applaud him for it....personally i dont usually go to testimonials...thats my choice...

I agree, although I would applaud RH for his commitment for doing 10years I wouldn't attend his testimonial if he wasn't playing us.
