Was thinking the same. Agar was a good assistant to Kear and Sharp. Now he's an inexperienced head coach with no assistant. And what are Lee and Steve Crooks' accountabilities?

Hadnt seen FC say the role was gone. Depends what FC want to do. We would normally compromise well paid employees anyway and add in extra secrecy caveats etc.

from all accounts theres alot of gone on this year at the club on and off the field, maybe he has put his hand up and said let me do it my way for next year and i will suffer the repercussions if i fail which is fair enough in my opinion. 1st coach in many a year who has had the chance to offload a fair few of players and imo not many fans will argue with who he has let go, i still feel we should have a clear out in the backroom as they have been around to long and we need a fresher approach in these departments but he does seem to be covering alot of the bases himself when you compare leeds and hulls setups .

In all honesty it was a ridiculous appointment anyway, maybe for once someone at the club should be credited with making a good decision as it was a complete waste of time having him at the club

When has he blamed Sharp ? The points he makes about recruitment are correct many have been saying the same on here for 18 months.

And there is an outisde chance without Ellery around he may just have sneaked a GB cap! Oh and that smile at Kurt Sorenson when we knew that Premiership was ours!!
