| Just a thought but this same group of players (well nearly) have got rid of our last two coaches by playing poor one up rugby.
Maybe its time to let the coach stay and get rid of the players.
I agree that the coaching doesn't seem to be up to standard i.e. moves and substitutions line speed etc. but if the players know their on there way out do you really feel that they are going to gladly do any of this, especially if they are on good wages.
Certain posters on here have been saying for years we need a clear out of personnel and it looks like it might be happening yet you want the coach to go again?
What I say is give him his chance next year with his team and a proven communicator in the side something we haven’t had in a while.
The last two times Agar took temporary charge we did play expansive rugby under his tenure (maybe this fact is lost though due to the constant doom and gloom on here.) but both times he had a communicator in the side.
Agar is on a steep learning curve but thanks to the salary cap there shouldn't need to be panic sackings every Sodding year.
Do you think Morgan was instantly a good coach or D Anderson or add at you leisure.
People talk about Kearney coming back but he had a hell of a lot of help from a certain Mr Bennet in the world Cup.
Agar maybe isn't the finished article and I’m sure he knows this but I’d rather have a bit of stability at the club and see what happens.
Lastly a certain Mr Whiteley recently said all the guile has been coached out of our players by a succession of oz coaches. I tend to agree with him.

If he was a good enough coach, he would be able to take just about any professional RL player and coach them to play his way

Fair point, anyone can coach good sides it's great coaches that get the best of players with limited ability and get them players to play for each other and with pride is the 1st step
Brian Smith did a great job with some very poor players

I'd go so far as to say that a great coach in harge of mediocre players (I belive our squad is much better than mediocre) would firstly look to wring every last ounce out of the players he has, improving every aspect of their games to maximise what skills they do have, plus he would be looking at the opposition for their weaknesses and expolit them. I haven't seen any of this from agar in his year in the job and for that he should be fired

| All this he (Agar) will be/should be judged next year as it will be HIS team is just a load of e...sorry! Christ ALL coaches who take over teams are in the same situation....players who they haven't signed (Look at Smith and Nathen Brown), Hull might as well have given Agar a 3 1/2 year deal and said fook the first 1 1/2 as we won't judge you...we the fans still pay our money week in week out and deserve better than what we are getting....which in case anyone has forgotten is THEE WORST STYLE of rugby in SL and THEE WORST STLYE i have seen any hull side play for a long time....that is squarly at the front door of Agar!!!
I hope he does prove me wrong becuase if he doesn't i, like all of us, will be sat here this time next year stating the same thing with yet another years ed down the pan!!!

If he's still here next year I for one won't be getting a season pass. Not wasting good money watching boring one man rugby from inept coaching... The signing of two past it players in Long and Fitzgibbon isn't going to change things.

Thought they were doing 7am training starts just lately. A few weeks ago wasn't it you that was saying they were flogging the players in training and they were knackered?

There's a difference, and yes it was me
Surely training would consist of warm up, bit of training ball work, warm down rehab, video sessions and the countless smoke breaks they can squeeze in but hey if your happy who am i to argue
From what i see they need to spend more time on the training pitch together with the ball in hand

Didn't say I was happy, just that you seemed to be saying they were doing too much at training recently and now they're not doing enough. In your comparison to Rovers, I'm sure Morgan spends a lot more time on detailed gameplans and tactics against individual oppostion players than we do.

Me too. RA is not happy with some of his playing staff and is desperate to get hi own players in and rid of the deadwood. The board are backing him so he will be given some or all of next season and then can be truly judged.
In the meantime all I hope is that he learns from his mistakes, I don't mind him making mistakes providing he does not make them again. Things like not using interchanges baffles me so hopefully he is learning as he goes. It's not what I wanted but he is the head coach and that is not going to change.

Ah, right. Only when Peter Sharp was coach, it was all down to him stifling the players and Agar. Not the players fault at all. Apparently.
When he has his own squad, what excuse is going to be used then?
