Having heard a little bit of the JR interview on KCFM I cant see that happening anyway TBH. He basically emphasised how JS lost the first 7 games last season and got coach of the month the next month and went on to have a good season. He then started going on about how Alex Ferguson was 1 defeat away from the sack at Man Utd early in his career. Sounded like the club have no plans to sack Agar this season to me.

He was making similar noises about PS just before he got the Spanish archer, so I wouldn't necessarily read that much into it TBH.

They may not be [iplanning[/i to bin Agar, but if we continue to plunge down the table and revenue starts to suffer they'll panic and have him out the door so fast he'll leave scorch marks on the boardroom carpet.

Not really, it sounded like he was covering his own/the clubs back with regards the appointment of Agar and beginning the Spin needed in order to fight off the pressure to sack him. If we lose to Salford and in Scotland next weekend the calls for Agars head will be very loud but he wont be sacked for at least another couple of months if at all this season IMO.

I dont recall him making a big thing about other coaches having bad spells only to turn it round TBH though I suppose he possibly did. Just the manner in which he said it indicated to me that we could carry on like this for a lot longer before anything is done about it.

I really think this is a game we must get the ball out wide. Salford are weak out there and we need to exploit it, if we go down the middle we will be matched and later in the gam salford will run rings round us. If we use the correct tactic i think we'll win comfortably 12 - 32, if we play down the middle, 18 - 10.
