If anything the pressure is on Hull, as they are at home and after their recent debacle, the pressure on the the players to perform well will be even more intense, another defeat and the knives will definitely be out come Friday evening. |

Lot of truth in that actually. Don't fall into the trap of believing the bookies always know their stuff.
Most bookies don't have a dedicated odds compiler for our sport and just copy what the first bookie puts up (usually totesport,) hence we have a situation where there is very little variation in the handicaps being quoted because each bookie is scared of putting his neck on the line and having an opinion.
For my money, Hull are favourites purely on the basis they're at home (bookies as a rule factor in a 6 point advantage for being at home) Hull -2 tomorrow would equate to Hull +4 if the game were played at a neutral venue and +10 (eek!) if it were at The Swamp. |
