Agree with the OP and they would both be in my top 3 from today's performance, although that might change when I watch again.

Thought Moa gave our pack the go-forward we've been missing all season and Whiting was better than Horne at FB by a distance.

Whiting was brilliant when coming on, good under the high ball and good kick returns.

Moa was great, made good yards and hard to stop. Unfortunately, looks like he'll be going unless Manu is classed as a Federation Trained player next season.

Moa was awesome for you guys tonight.

Really impressed with Sam Moa today, he did everything asked of him and gave us a dimension to our game lacking of late.

Richard Whiting looked very comfortable at full back, hopefully he can keep that up.

Both did well tonight.

Richard looked comfortable there because he has a great awareness and positional sense, something Motu doesn't have, that why he's always scrambling around letting the ball bounce. You can either make things easy or difficult for yourself he seems to do the latter. Whitings passing when joining the attacking line was also first class.

I've said before Whiting would make a good fb and got laughed at by some for my opinion. However he played very well and filled you with confidence when the ball went up and ran the ball back hard as well making good yards.
And Moa what a great performance, bent the line every time he ran at it and put in some good defensive hits. Our best forward by a mile.

If we'd have won, it would definitely have been due to Leeds being awful. Because we were dreadful for most of the game until these players came on.

Whiting should be 6 or 13....his passing was fast and accurate...miss out pass for Tickle was spot on and the pass to Yeaman was superb...pity Broughton didnt read the play.

Moa's looked promising all season but him like others has suffered from our 'blame lottery' scheme. Every week we refuse to believe our team was responsible and try to pin it on an individual. The fact remains that the most talented squad with the most enthusiasm won, and they was coached better. Anyone that singles out Thorman or Horne, or anyone else, is simply a 'tard.

Got to agree, Whiting HAS to be in the starting 13 for us. He has a proper rugby league brain, great positioning and his passing, as already mentioned, was first class. Why he was dropped the other week is beyond me!

Sam Moa gave us something that we have lacked for most of the season with his go forward, was very impressed with him tonight.

Now all we need to do next week at Cas is start from the first whistle!!

Primarily that Moa has never been blamed for a loss, and more generally that the entire squad has been blamed for our pi$$ poor season. And the coach. And the board. And the stadium cat.

While I agree that individual players are occasionally unfairly criticised/blamed following losses, it's generally a minority sport and has not been particularly in evidence this season IMO.
