He wouldn't be terrible, because he is such a dangerous player but he's not at all what we need, we need a playmaker and the most important attribute we need is a good kicking game, Burrow dosnt fit that bill.

I don't think that would be an issue and don't see why we wouldn't want him if he was available

Burrow seems to have gone stale in the last couple of years following his motm peformance in the GF and subsequent man of series performance for GB against NZ. That said he was injured for part of one season and towards the back end of last year seemed to be getting better and finding his form again.

I can't believe Leeds would be letting him go but if we signed him I would be very happy, still a top halfback.

You have to wonder if there aren't some behind the scenes issues at L**ds at the moment.

I can't see it tbh. They are in a great position financially and I don't think Burrow will be going anywhere unless they have a new SH lined up. The loss of Diskin isn't major, I just think Bradford where the only club willing to offer a three year deal plus Leeds have McShane to back up Buderus who is a class act.

The Bluey thing is weird, he wanted McDermot as his no.2 and GH wanted him as he is highly regarded at Leeds after his previous spell there. Maybe Bluey just thought after not winning last year that is was the right time to go?

I would no be confident with Brian Mac in charge though if I supported Leeds.

Chase is out of position and K. Pryce wasn't a real rumour admittedly. Any shouts for the missing centre spot? Not a bad looking team in fairness.

He is one of the few coaches that I rate less than Agar, he did little at Harelequins (admittedly with little resource and player turnover quite high), the quality of L**ds squad means they will still be at the top end of the table, but I doub't they will compete as well as they have in recent seasons, be interesting to see the affect on attendances if they do start to lose a few.

Burrow isn't a real rumour. Someone said that the Leeds board had rumours of Burrow to Bradford, and another person posted saying 'wonder if Gary offered him to Kath'.

Gary's off to Aus this week on a scouting mission, to get some players and coaches, I wonder if our chief scout is going with him!

All I want is one of them to materialise now, frustration is an under-statement.
