Think you may well be right, they will not want to lose someone as inportant in their set up so close to the start of the season, i think the only way we will get one of them is if the player himself forces the clubs hand by asking for a release.

I am still thinking we aren't going to sign anyone. If Chase or Sammut came they would and should be in the starting team ahead of Horne or Long. The idea that either them would come as cover for two washed up halves is ludicrous.

We let Westerman go because his heart appeared to not be in Cas anymore, and he wanted to leave, he looked a shadow of the player he was a few seasons ago, and we needed the money towards the stadium that we wouldnt have got a year later when his contract ran out.

I hope he returns back to form and fulfills his potential however

Chase i believe is contracted until 2013, and i have heard no rumours of him being unhappy or wanting to leave, if you were going to sign him, you would have him by now, not gonna happen
