| Quote ="Uncle Junior"This is now he third season in a row that we've had an injury crisis, are people still willing to put it down to bad luck?
To me, it's no coincidence that Agar has presided over each of these injury hit seasons and there must be a root cause. For example it could be down to the training techniques used, the standard of our physios, the fitness coaching or even the pitches they train on. Unfortunately each season our 'coach' is happy to write it off as mere 'bad luck' instead of doing his job properly and seeking a solution to this problem.'"
I'm not jumping on any bandwagons but I must admit that our 'luck' regarding injuries is becoming very concerning!!

No fantasism at all. Physical preparation can have a major effect on how susceptible to injury a player is in a match situation, I'm sorry if you didn't realise this.

| Quote ="Tarquin Fuego"Injuries have been the cornerstone of the agar excuse mechanism , also that the current players weren't his , but that has gone since.
What I really want him to say is NOTHING about injuries- it breeds negativity. I want Churchillian speeches about every player wanting to fight to keep a place so they will be able to keep their place the following week. I want to know about how determined we are to finish Top 4 and not just 'see how the injuries go'. Injuries are a smokescreen and do not want to read the big match build up about injuries - fu*k injuries , they are for losers. Bring in youngsters , we are playing a team low on confidence , knocked out by Quins(who are sh*t).
I want a caoch who inspires and demands 100% effort , not a coach who 1 day before a big game talks injuries to the Press.
Does that answer what you want me to hear from him ?'"
Fantastic Post and spot on. he may have well have said "don't worry boys, you're getting paid, the fans came last year to watch dross and we'll hide behind injuries"
Get the Churchillian speach going. Show some fecking passion. Us fans are not the utter tools that they seem to think we are. We can work out what's going on FFS.

Do you daleks not go to school?
My post about agar was referring to the fact the season will go down the pan and he'll roll out the injury excuse. the other post was stating that wakefield are so bad I expect us to win anyway
You should have a chat with dr who next time before you try and be a smart ass
And he'll get a positive from me the day he leaves the KC for good

What about the injury crises in 2003 and 2004?

Supports my point. I wasn't suggesting Agar was getting the players injured on purpose but that since we get so many injuries he should be conducting a detailed investigation into what could be causing it. Instead he throws his hands in the air, blames it on 'bad luck' and carries on without changing
a thing.

Correct! Obviously it wouldn't stop all of them but the right training and preparation can have a real impact on the likelihood of injuries occuring (even broken bones) and minimise the severity when they do occur. You only have to look on google to see for yourself.

Correct, injuries and key players gone leaves us with a poor squad playing badly, can't see how it can be turned around and would be very suprised if we can beat a Hull side disrupted by injury.
Maybe the Kear and Cooke factor can be the difference, though i really doubt it.

| It doesn't help when players get overplayed. Tickle and fitz do way too many minutes and agar's poor rotation mean they are fatigued later in games and do tend to be more susceptible to injuries. Broken bones are generally bad luck but poor technique due to fatigue can be a factor

| To be fair, If we dont perform tonight if Agar did to decide to put it down to injuries he would be within his rights I do have sympathy with him as he is down to the bare bones, and had it been a new coach people would be willing to understand, but he has made his bed for one thing by not picking his strongest side when it has been available this season, add that to the past two seasons which he has hid under the injuries and not my team etc excuses, he made the decision to go with a smaller squad and signing big name players, this was the season we were promised things would be different and whatever the circumstances he will be under pressure if we continue to not perform.

wakey have lost tronc, brough and newton, plus they have morrison injured. Taking those players out of their squad is more damaging than us losing who we have IMO so injuries shouldn't stop us winning tonight.
Interesting to think that if he'd played moa on Saturday that maybe radford wouldn't have played and would be fit to play tonight

| Injuries are part and parcel of rugby league, every team gets them to varying levels and every player will be injured at some point.
If you are going to judge Agar I would suggest you should judge him on how he gets his fit players performing both individually and collectively not because some players are sat in the treatment room.
