H/back stand off if he ever played for FC it would be the same. Horney is a stand-off but has played many games as a 7.

I'd settle for any creative/running/ball handling scrum half/stand off, 2 good ones on show tonight. Shows what we are missing imo. That's what the half back position is all about for me, not how defensively solid they are but what they bring to the attack.

To be accurate, McRae said he can't officially sign players before the end of seAson but it does happen. Also said hes in talks with players but no one has signed a contract and until they do put pen to paper he isn't prepared to speculate. (this is not word for word but the point is the same)

I agree 2 good ones on show, I like both their kicking games and that is some-thing we have not had for far to many years now, talking about defense I was actually impressed with Dobsons defense that is an area he has definitely improved. I could overlook any h/backs defense if they brought the skills you mention to our game.

We don't have to say he's rubbish. His commitment and lack of game time is a beacon of light shining down upon him. Struggling to get game time so asks for a release instead of knuckling down and working harder on his game. If he was held in high regard would rovers really be accepting his release request straight away.

Having listened to that McRae didn't actually say that he has made signings that he can't announce yet at all.

If both Gentle and Mcrae have said Horne will be moving to fb, then I can't see us signing one.

We've got the salary cap to take into account and having Horne, who i'm guessing is on a fairly decent wage, as a squad player wont work.

With Bulls looking like going into administration I would be looking at some of there players. Bateman will go to Wire and Burgess abroad but Kopzack is an option at prop and Lulia at .

I really don't think centre is a priority next year.

I'd rather sign Kearney who is miles better FB than Horne.

Elima's quite a good player and would fit the mobile pack Gentle is said to favour. He's no replacement for Moa, though, if he's being considered as a prop.

He has to be considered as prop, we shouldn't be spending more money in the back row.
