Absolutely, especially with it looking like Savelio will leave, its really concerning how the backrow has been neglected over the last 5 years, looking at Ellis, Sika and Minichiello there's size, pace, power and leadership there, everything you want from your back row, and they haven't really been replaced, I know we tried with Ma'u (Always injured) and Jones (Homesick pudding) but we need some size back in there.

Definitely the type of character we need, and despite being 36. he is very fit and is rarely injured, just not sure is a priority.

If you’d of asked any rovers fan 2 months ago about the prospect of losing skids it would of been unspeakable but the club have done brilliant in pulling in Hall who looks like he could go on to be a international class centre

Very smart recruitment form Rovers signing one of Wakey's best young players and sending a reserve player the other way, absolute mad decision from them, I'd be fuming if Hull did that.

Shane Wright is out of contract at Salford, seemed a decent second rower when I've seen him play, could be a target if Salford do have financal issues? Sironen and sione matautia are both OOC too if we did have some money spare if savellio were to leave..

Aren’t salford struggling financially at the minute? Even if they have a plan together, I imagine OOC players will be a bit nervous and would jump ship if the opportunity came.

The reality is majority of players don’t really care who the play for as long as they’re getting paid and playing week in week out

Maybe they are getting players signed up to ensure they get transfer fees if they go belly up

Thought O'Donnell looked brilliant against us and has done every time i've watched Leigh this year, only 24 and has potential to come off the Quota with his British Passport? (May be proven wrong on this). He would be a good signing by the looks of it.

SKD doesn't make sense to me, sure he is a true leader, something we are currently lacking, but age and the fact we have two capable centres makes me feel a quota spot would be better used elsewhere. However i am more than happy to let TS make the recruitment/retention he deems required.

I would be amazed if we signed SKD. Doesn't seem to make much sense. However, if it was a 1yr deal, with them having a longer term target at Centre the year after, then I could live with that - plus, he and his wife are spending a lot of time with the Clifford's so could help us to keep Jake for another year and not have him looking at going back to the NRL

They changed the rules on that one, have to have come through a domestic academy (incl france) to be a non quote. Passport is now irrelevant apart from in terms of visa. SKD would be a stupid signing. Old, quota, expensive and has a history of DV which would immediately put me off him even if he didn’t have any of the other downsides

Sio is one of the most underrated players in SL,.scores tries everywhere he goes despite being in some average to poor teams over the years. 33 later this year tho.

Sio walks into every SL side imo. If he was the right side of 30 I’d definitely consider using a quota spot on him and I’m someone against us signing a winger
