Talk sport are also very good at it they know what to say and when to say it. Then there are others who think they are shock jocks but who are selective of who they critise, let there own feelings come into it and chose the wrong battlegrounds to fight on. Just my opinion of course.

I heard the cringeworthy post-match interview a couple of weeks back when Brown was openly hostile to Burns' choice of questions and style, but got the impression that this stemmed from prior events.

Brown would not normally react so to the sort of things asked so why the big falling out?

(Interestingly, Burns remains cloyingly sychophantic to all things City (as seen by the mutual tonguing of him and Duffen) so appears to save the sour grapes purely for our club.)

People like Burnsy and Gwillam are the reason I never buy newspapers and generally hate the sports media......reporters that never played twittering on about something they know nothing about. Its a National problem not just our local problem.

When they get guests on who DO know what they are talking about they constantly interupt them so they can hear their own voices and opinions again. If they were saying something profound they'd only have to say it once and we'd all remember what they said and who said it. They constantly repeat their views cos no one agrees or gives a shiny $hitE for their opinions.

As for been biased and controversail, I agree they try to be and its embarrassing to listen to. They should try to be impartial for the good of their audience. Its a sad state of affairs that they must be the best reporters the radio station has. If they played they'd be getting relegated.

Karl is spot on, Dave Gibbons was head of sport here before going to BBC South West as sports Editor. David Burns worked as company accountant for Blunderside before working as a Sports reporter. He then went to Radio Sheffield as Sports Editor, and then returned here!

What a shame Dave Gibbons is still not with Humberside.
