You haven't denied Myler or Carney. Is it either of those?

Lugs isn't giving me no clues, so it must be still ongoing, maybe it is one of the named 2 you've mentioned, I would like either of them, leaning more towards Myler.

Maybe the delay is Carney's visa.
Wonder why there's no confirmation of Michaels new contract.

Like you say if it's Carney we will need the quota space, bit cruel if it is to happen this way but we need a 6 more then a winger, especially as they are targeting another outside back, plus fonua can play there.

| If we did sign Carney and therefore released Michaels. Fonua back on the wing, Tuimavave back to centre.
Shaul
Talanoa
Griffin/Tuimavave
Tuimavave/Griffin
Fonua
That's a ridiculously strong back line!

| Why would anyone want to move Fonua to the wing when he's one of the best centres in SL?

It's just options, nobody said he is, we need a 6 for us to kick on, he's getting an outside back so it probably won't happen.

Could be 1 of the best wings too
Tbf he's played both lots without being tied down as been either
Has a lot of attributes that lend to both positions.
Personally I'd rather stick with centre. Only thing is
Tala
Carlos
Griffin
Fonua is imo stronger than
Tala
Fonua
Griffin/Carlos
Michaels

I'd let him leave, been disappointing for the outlay in my eyes, frequently injured and if Radford isn't going to play him out wide then what's the point?
Cue all the posters to come on and say how great he is in the dressing room...£200k+ a year is very expensive for a stand-up comedian. We'd be much better off with a quality stand-off

| Let's face it , to bring in a top quality No6 some salary cap will need to be freed up .
Maybe Frank has said he is willing to go , if the Club need the space ?

| I'm undecided, I like Frank and he brings a lot off the field and IMO has had a good season, the amount of metres he makes and defenders he draws in really helps the side, played a crucial part in our Wembley win. Had a feeling we might see his game go up a level next season, but if he goes and that allows us to bring in two players including s top 6, then I can see the benefit for the team, plenty of cover in the back row aswell.

I agree with you. This is probably the last season for Ellis and Mini and if we don't take up the third year for Frank,(I believe it's in our favour) that will be a hell of a turnover of the back row which could be disruptive. At present we could sign a Quality Off Half a forward to replace Frank and an outside back. The problem is most teams have done their recruitment and retention so it may be difficult to bring in who we need, though we could have enough cash to pay transfer fees. Purely hypothetical of course.

I'd hope that if we do release Frank, then we already have someone, you signed, think it will either be Kelly or Carney.

Great players but signing either of them would be a big gamble especially Kelly. When your team mates don't want you to play despite being in a perilous position says it all. Given a choice I would rather have Myler and go for Sio or Naiqama for Michaels. What ever happens it looks like we will have our strongest squad since the last time we won the championship. Exciting times, I can't wait for next season.

There are reports Andrew Fifita is could be coming to Super League. He is a prop but Pritchard was playing in the middle so he could be an option.

Myler and Sio would be amazing, but unlikely as Sio will give back and we don't know if Myler is available.
The other two are risks, but you have to trust Radford and Tony, if they could get the best out of either player, it could take us to the next level.
I'd take a gamble on either on them with a one deal deal.

| Risk, but worth it, on his day devastating and would work well with Sneyd.
Will get him on a good deal and incentives to play for another deal.
Well know to Mini and Michaels and only 25.
