All going off rumours but Micky P was apparently one of our highest earners. Rankin was signed by Gentle & McRae to play as one of our 1st choice halfbacks so presumably on quite a bit. Plus it was rumoured at the time Lineham signed his 4 year contract he asked Radford if he should sign it & Lee told him he'd be stupid not to take the money on offer. As I say, all rumour but I guess we'll see.

I think it shows how much we have been over paying players that we can sign the quality of players we have for the ones leaving.

It wouldn't at all surprise me if it's Rovers after Shillington. The Aussie press have history of mixing us up.

Rovers have no quota places left, they are going to find it really hard to recruit and they need a few players and always rely on overseas recruitment.

Maybe Sio is leaving. He generally looks quite glum. And when they did that PR thing last week celebrating players not sacking off the 2nd year of a 3 year deal, was he one of them?

Sio's Mrs. has already gone home. Despite them both saying he remains committed and will see out his deal, it wouldn't surprise me to see him go.

The Mighty F90 was the master - got loads of bites by slightly and repeatedly misquoting Pearson, back when the latter's pronouncements were treated with somewhat greater reverence than now.

Our recruitment and retention has been, overall, pants the last few years, that's a fair point. 2008-11, we had some stability - too much some said, by the end of Morgan's reign. And we did need to rebuild - which we've now done 4 times in as many years. We're crying out for continuity as much as anything. Well, maybe not quite as much as at least one bigger backrower and probably a hooker, but nearly.
