Mcrae came out and said that the problem is with the player now, which would seem the visa is sorted and transfer fee sorted but either Chase has no ambition and isn't too keen anymore (wouldn't be worth having if true), or he wants more money and the club have said no we are sticking on what we agreed but it's up to you what you do and their waiting on his reply and are both playing waiting games

Or it's all rumour and speculation and he's signed and we are just waiting to announce it when our season is over to combat the doom and gloom..... Maybe.

So would I as I have always had my concerns about him playing in a structured team and I actually don't see the messiah in him as others do tbh, good player though no doubt about it. However saying that he is better than what we currently have and I am not sure what else is available on the market although the club have said they have a 2nd choice lined up. If we do get Chase though I will stick my neck out and say Holdsworth will be the better signing in the long run and he was free by all accounts!

I'm happy with the Holdsworth signing. Even if we don't get anyone else, Seymour should be better alongside a recognised halfback partner (though I'd prefer to replace him if we can). I just don't like the baggage Chase brings. His challenge on Houghton at the weekend was a prime example. His team loses the ball and Houghton drops on it, so he sees fit to forearm him on the ground. He's a turd.

Can't argue with any of that, that hit which he got a ban for earlier this year was one of the worst I have seen for many years and the point Chase went right down in my estimation, last year I would have loved him but that hit and bans for going on the lash have changed my opinion of him.
