Have to say that whilst I can see that there don't seem to be many (any?) better alternatives available, from what I've seen he's not exactly an exciting prospect. I wouldn't say he was a patch on McKinnon, either, and doubt anybody would if McKinnon was still here.
Hopefully he hasn't shown his best over here and we'll see a better player if he has signed. |

I'm big enough to admit that he's been a lot better for us than I expected. That doesn't erase all the cheap shots I've seen him do and mean I entirely approve of the way he's conducted himself in his time in SL, however. |

He hasnt played as much this year but currently west tigers player of the year in which he has won for the last 3 years I think ? against players of benji marshalls ilk it just shows how good he is and I have no doubt what so ever he is the best 2nd rower playing in sl next year |

The Mcgoldrick signing i think has been a good one. It's been a while since we had a tormentor. He's gets into everyone's faces and i think the teams attitude and efforts sometimes lifts. Talent and cover is just a bonus.
But that's my opinion
