That'd work, but I think the 8 is pretty much there for you anyway, I'd be v.surprised if you missed out. Wakey and Crusaders started -4, Catalans and Salford look really poor and Quins will fade badly when the pitches harden up. That would leave 9 teams fighting for 8 places, would be really shocked if FC weren't in there.

You're probably right but 8th then what? 9th , makes no difference really and that's the problem we know we ain't going to win anything or even get close. Just don't see the point of waiting for the inevitable and losing more bums on seats in the meantime.

If things don't change at the club there's no way we'll make the top eight - the opening two performances of the season tell you that much. There's clearly not much heart, spirit or cohesion in the squad and it stands out like a sore thumb. We were brilliant at Saints on the opening night of 2010 but at the minute a performance like that (with pretty much the same squad of players) seems a million miles away.

you forget I want the club to win trophies too, i can see the issues too, i hear a lot more than most too, and i know the issues going on internally too , maybe you just listen to the sheep on here too much...
no one person is bigger than the club.. if it aint broke dont fix it but if it is broke then fix it quickly ... things are broken at present and the club, the terraces and the whole nine yards is a very unhappy place to be isnt it

We need a coach who actually will live in Hull while coaching us, agar lives 40 mins away. He doesn't feel the pain and hurt of a defeat, he never see's the fans in the street looking dejected after a derby loss. Lokk at justin Morgan he lives in Hull and talks to the rovers fans. To be fair Expro's behaviour is consistent with someone who works with the team. Back the boss to the hilt for as long as you can because if his job is secure then so is your own, but if it becomes clear he's on his way out then you change your tune sharpish and distance yourself as much as you can from his regime in the hope that you aren't tarred with the same brush and shown the door too.

Being absolutely honest, I think with Agar in charge we're about 8-10th. Based on the squads and what we saw from teams last year, as well as the limited evidence from the opening 2 rounds, I think you can almost split SL into little groups with where they're likely to finish:

1-2: Wigan & Warrington
3-5: Saints, Huddersfield & Leeds
6-7: Rovers & Bradford
8-10: Crusaders, Castleford & Hull
11-14: Harlequins, Wakefield, Catalans & Salford.

Crusaders look to be more than the sum of their parts whereas we're less than ours, and Cas will be their usual good attack and weak defence. If we don't improve our defence I think that attack will therefore nick them results where we won't.
