Think there is more to his concussion than we know.

finally managed to watch the game back on Hull FC live and Holdsworth seemed okay when he went off. They sent the trainer on to pull him off after the kick.

That said, if we are already a few bodies down I can see them writing the game off and giving DJ an extra weeks rest.

We need holdsworth to stand any chance

firstly hope holdsworth is recovered and ready to go, but..

i've a friend who got a head knock and bad concussion skiing and had quite a while getting her health back, there's no way holdworth would have been allowed to play last week with any lingering damage. that said, one thing that is advised after a knock is rest, so who knows he may not be training flat out and might be eased back into it, maybe a game every other week for a month until he gets back on track

its typical of our luck though that the one indispensable member of the squad is the one who gets injured

Like the look of the team in hull d mail. Lynch ogre starting props watts at loose. Could rotate with Johnston green n Pitts. Constantly have 3props on but with a little impact n mobility n good hands at any time too.

if Holdsworth is out and it is due to re-occuring concussion symptoms then he might be out for a while, it's massively varied how the effects can pan out.
In which case we are royally 'ed given we are without an experienced organising half, if we don't get someone trying to nail Brough they'll post a shed load past us.

Would have thought so, if DJ doesn't play. Doch only said he's not sure he will play. I think he will.

If the injuries are as bad as rumoured, than all we can expect is a committed performance from the team.

sad to see another season go by the wayside, I just hope that the injuries rumours aren't as bad.
