| Got a facebook message from Lee earlier saying they sold 500 shirts yesterday - I think that's pretty good to be honest - and just the home shirt too.

I think the club have managed to avoid "the recession" having an impact by getting things organised early, a heck of a lot of people will buy shirts now as Christmas presents, and then in the run up to Christmas come and buy something else (and away shirt, for example).
So, and I hope you are sitting down Wilf etc, credit to FC for getting their commercial act together early. |

to be fair to all those running the retail side of things, they've had their acts together for a good few years now.
and having major sponsors such as P&O tied to a long deal helps greatly, in years gone by the whole shirt would be delayed whilst they searched for a sponsor. |

| when to [pick up season passes today ,,when into the shop the home shirt only go up to 3xxx they are waiting for 4/5 XXX to come in 2 or 3 days time.I think people might find them a bit tight ? >> My lad gets the 2XX but the 3 XX ..he wanted more room but its people preference  |

Looks like we will smash the 10,000 sales barrier again (fifth year in a row, IIRC). I think the record was 14,000 shirts sales in 2008 so it would be fantastic to break that. |
