It would be an odd question to ponder as he quit Crusaders. If I recall correct it was at a time when the club were facing a wind-up order and players and staff were not being paid.

The Stadium is first class though. The dressing rooms, gym, offices etc are all as good as, if not better than the KC.

If you take into account the small stadium next door that we used for Reserve games and that the Doncaster Belles play on I am not surpised it was as much as it was.

Noble would be a shocking appointment. I mean look at his record, winning everything in the game with Bradford, taking Wigan from bottom of the league to 80 minutes from the Grand Final, twice, and then taking Crusaders from bottom of the table to 8th, and when he leaves the same players finish bottom.

Interesting comment from Longy last night on Sportstalk about Agar, said he was a "players" coach?? Lets hope next time we get a "fans" coach!!!

Thought that was an interesting comment and in reading between the lines I would say it is maybe too friendly a relationship between the Coach and players which makes me wonder if the players are in the comfort zone and no real seriousness taken with regards any issues that are in need of redress such as continued mistakes etc?

Yeah, he's obviously making so much cash from punditry that he has been able to turn down all of those offers of head coach jobs that have come his way

I thought that too. Long said that he is a nice bloke, a friend, a hard working guy, a player's coach and many more things but he never once mentioned anything about quality, the ability to win things or anything that would make him a sound like someone who should be in charge of a big club.

He actually made him sound like a very good assistant coach !!

I would say the KC dressing facilities etc. are better than Doncaster's. Donny is a good modern stadium and is better behind the scenes than Wires. Wire has little space in the changing room areas compared to both Doncaster and the KC.

Doncaster has bigger space between the dressing rooms and the pitch, but inside the ground, the KC has significantly more space around the benches etc, when compared to the KC and WIire.

They are all fine stadia, but having spent time behind the scnes at all, the KC is still way ahead of the others.

The trick we missed at the KC was to build the second stadia as a reserve team base - that facility at Donny is first rate and the pitch is one of the best I have been on.
