And less income to the company who run and are responsible for the upkeep of the stadium

You've maintained from Day 1 he'll get the stadium.

No doubt. It will definitely get messy in the short term and we'll definitely feel the squeeze. But remember, we're nowhere near the same position as City fans find themselves in. He can't do anymore than make things a bit uncomfortable for a while (closing stands etc.). But long term the only way he'll get his money back is through the football club, that's why relegation would be best imo (for us anyway) he'll pocket the parachute payments and sell once he doesn't need the ridiculous price for them.

Parachute payments are about £70m spread over 3 years, roughly the amount Mr Allam has lent city.

Hull City have been granted Category 2 status. It looks like the Council was all mouth and no trousers. The elections are over and they can go back to letting the Allams do what they want.

Let's see what Phil Webster comes back with. His position of outrage when it was suggested there was no visible council action was extreme. I can't imagine for a second they'll be letting it lie given what he said.
