On anotehr note, thought Taylor was excellent last night and the best forward on the pitch, people saying he isn't as good as Paea, but there is no way Paea would have scored a try like Taylor did last night.

Taylor did play well last night and was there best forward. He looks to be carrying too much weight still, certainly got a bit of a spread on round the middle. Better than Paea, hard to say different animals really, he’s definitely got a better pair of hands but Paea has more impact in the tackle.

Agreed, both have different strengths, certainly not a downgrade.

Hopefully he will trim slighly off at Hull (Although I would have though Radford would have got Abdul fit).

Good chance it is us, plenty of connections at Hull, we have signed an outside back, I'll be pretty happy if we sign Gordon.

Is he that naive or out of touch with the fans to realise this wouldn't go down well with the majority of fans.

I think the fact that Pearson is surprised at the reaction shows he hasn't really "got it"
The rivalry is fine when it's filling a stadium, when there's a cost attached the rivalry can be forgotten.
Allied to the fact we seem to be losing our identity in the stadium we play in, and the club are losing their relationship with the fans it's pretty depressing.
It seems to be Pearson and Radford against the world. They are only custodians though. We were here before them, and will be here after them.

I agree. Can imagine the outcry of announcing the signing of a costly overseas player, just after the club announce how much money can be saved by merging academies.
