Dont get the big fanfare tbh. Miller has played a handfull of NRL games and is hardly the big name we need to get us around the park. He also got dropped from Wests because of a poor kicking game and poor defence. Then theres the Horne scenario who will obviously be dropped for a rookie when Horne is probably our player of the season so far. Could be the making of the season, could also be the undoing of it just as things are starting to go well

Of course it is a gamble, but we aren't going to get a regular starting NRL no7 joining us...so given the choices of having a young & hungry player, or an old & battered has-been, i'd rather gamble on the young prospect.

Miller has the potential to be superior to both.

From what I've seen from Miller playing for the Tigers this year, he did look somewhat 'lost'. This can be down to a number of factors which may be rectified by him stepping down a level to Super league.

I think Holdsworth is going to have to direct play still as he did against London for a while until Miller finds his feet. That's if he's suited and ever going to be able to take over that kind role to begin with.

The one thing for sure about Miller is that he has devastating footwork with pace to burn.

Ellis rates him. when the Prince situation was going on he said he'd prefer Miller to Prince although he admitted he was being a touch biased.

you cant win with some people, anyone realist can see that halfbacks are thin on the ground and are so sort after that we cant just cherry pic one coz all clubs will want to keep on to their prized players, but in miller we could have a little gem that could grow into a very highly related player, one which we could build around. to judge him by what hes done or hasn't done this season is totally unfair coz the whole tigers team is under performing and its quite clear something isn't right there.

think your right, he could be low on confidence after being dropped at wests, so gentle might wanna gauge him in training, lucky he wont need be thrust straight in coz as you say, horne n dj have got lots to offer as a partnership. but if hes doing it in training im sure gentle will be maga keen to play him.

We are reportedly signing a young half back who has played for the Junior Kangaroos, been named in a Toyota Cup team of the season, and is said to have played a 'starring role' in last year's Toyota Cup final, of which he won. On twitter it's said he's signed a 3 year deal and should be over this season, and we do have some more NRL based targets but can't reveal who yet..

Miller will be here in 10 days.. ???
