I think we will lose - its our 1st game and we will be blooding some of the kids in the 2nd half. What i am interested to see, is how the first 13 play in the 1st half. If we play expansive rugby with support play and show signs of good rugby, yet we lose the 2nd half with the kids playing, that wont upset me

The only reason I think we will lose is because Rovers will be playing their third game and this been our first.

After watching Rovers against Wigan i think we'll get the win depending on PG subs. With us playing York the day before i'd imagine we'll be going against Rovers with a strong line up.

I don't like the idea of having a derby as a friendly, I think it just devalues it. 3 times (with of course the prospect of a CC and/or Playoff game too) is more than enough.

If I was a 'pay on the day' fan, I'd be keeping my money for the Warrington game.

We've had no rugby for 4 and a half months. I'd pay £20 to watch the warm up.

Been plenty of RL about just pop and watch the local amateur teams.

Starting to get excited about this game now and how people can just dismiss it as meaningless I find a little odd. To me the chance to see how the new players and the squad as a whole are shaping up plus the fact we've had no rugby from the black n white's for four months is just too big a draw.

So how many tickets have been sold. Rumours on here are that only 6500 tickets have been sold. Someone has just told me 15000 have been sold. Can't see that to be honest

it will only be meaningless as a game if one or other of the teams make a full teams worth of substitutions at half time, if both sides use a smaller squad of around 20 players then it should be a good game

Not to me it won't for the reasons i've already stated. Wether we use 4 or 10 subs it won't be a meaningless to me.
