Boots n all is a load of old sh***e anyway .
Even the name make me cringe . It conjures up an image of flat caps and whippits . An image the game needs to loose .
A more modern style of show with a better format and name is needed.
Something to attract new support .

Totally agree. Boots n all definitely had its day. Just think sky games are far better with Carney, Barrie and Tez commentating. |

Good signing (Although I dont think he is as good as some make out), he is a very lucky boy to do something like that and fall on his feet with a dream move, although I reckon he might have taken a paycut to sign for Leeds.
Better for us to sign for Leeds than any other team in SL also.

You wouldn't think so would you, but lots of RL players don't seem to bright and often make the same mistakes again.
He should be a really good boy, as he lucky to fell on his feet, Carney got the greatest punishment of all, by sending him to Salford. |

I think the greater concern would be his state of mind, rather than the risk of repeat. He's stuffed up spectacularly - some people can shrug it off, others can't. It won't be made easier for him by everybody in his professional environment knowing. At least at Leeds he probably won't be the main story for long. |

The huge difference is that players actually want to play for Leeds therefore huge salaries to lure players there aren't necessary unlike in the 90s. I wouldn't be surprised to find that Ferres is actually on less at Leeds. Leeds are one of the only clubs to have never broken the salary cap and Pearson has many a time admitted that he admires the way Leeds is run financially.

You couldn't make it up!
Had a quick look and in Section 3 Salary Cap Offences 3.1.1a, it says you can't exceed £1.825m then backs it up in brackets with (One Million Nine Hundred and Twenty Five Thousand Pounds). 
Now I'm not an Accountant, but I can imagine some Clubs will already have booked a Double Decker Bus and a Lawyer to drive through that accidental £100k typo error.
You'd have thought they'd have proof read it before sending it out. |
