Horne offers us no more from fullback than Tony does. Am I just failing to see Hornes fullback prowess or are people just seeing things.

I'm with you, I don't see Horne as anything above average at fb. Unless that changed with a pre season training there. Although I can't see just one pre season making a huge difference.

Horne would be wasted at fullback IMO, and I also think he would be the perfect foil for Long as Horne would do the running and defense whilst Long does the kicking and organising

I still think Horne needs to add hell of alot to his creative side of his game, as he doesn't create enough imo.

Its all about balance isnt it. What makes me laugh is people knocking our experiences signings and actually thats what weve been missing, They forget we have one of the best youth set ups in the game and the average age of our squad is probably one of the youngest in SL.

I also see the FB arguement differently to some on here. I think he has more skills to be a pivotal FB than he does to be a 6 given the game time there to get used to it. He got better and better playing there this season.

rich horne imo is better at fullback i feel he does a hell of alot more then tony does

I disagree. Horne is fine at 6 with an organising 7 who will control everything. And Horne isn't fine at fullback. He offers nothing going forward and, from what I've seen of him, we'd be a lot better off with Tansey there instead of Horne.

Morris is nowhere near the standard we should be looking to replace Horne with either. He wouldn't be an improvement and we'd be weakening the team if we were to move other players out of position to accommodate him.
