Pearson's statement yesterday could be interpreted that some players could be released. A new coach could make that more likely.

I must be the only one but I actually like the look of Feka, Mika and Paea as our new look forward line. Miles more grunt and miles more aggression than this year imo

Mika will not add that much grunt and aggression, trust me, well that's unless he improves dramatically.

Just had a look and he's played 19 SL games this year. If he plays 19 next year I'll be fairly happy.

Thats it though...he may improve with us.

It seems unlikely, given our talent for making good players into crap ones.

Holdsworth for a start, looked a good player at Salford. According to this forum, he has gone backwards, rapidly.

Holdsworth has been gash from day 1.....offers bugger all in attack..gets the ball and just ships it out.

That's the point, gone backwards since joining FC.

I think 'good to crap' was a bit strong, but I don't believe we have a record of getting the best out of players. Look at Ellis this season. Was a world beater at Wests, but he's been no better than 'quite good' this season. Sean Long is another that springs to mind. Chris Thorman was only ever average before he joined us, but plummeted to being utterly awful upon pulling on a black and white shirt.

Thompson was an ordinary enough signing on it's own but now in the space of three days, we sign Feka from a French scrap heap, embarrass the whole club at Huddersfield, offer Radford the head coach's role and now we are linked with the fcking god awful Con Mika!
