McKinnon is obviously regarded as better than Phelps in the NRL, he's way ahead of Shaun Briscoe, Hohaia wanted to play in the halves and Scott Grix signed a new deal at Hudds. Other than that I can't think of another FB we could have tried to sign, given Minichello and Bowen are now staying in the NRL.

I said i THINK he is a waste of a quota spot. But time will tell. Like others i a am concerned over his recent form and his recent injuries as well as his age. We could well have another Long situation were we see a player spend more time with the physio than with the team.

Why are you only concerned about his current form? Why did you not comment on his form before these last two weeks when he was playing well? His injury record this season has been good.

to be fair menzies and fitzy have been quite injury free in there carrers whereas wades is pretty awfull but hes got a good record so far this year and fingers crossed he can stay fit becuase if he does then he will certainly be a very good player for us. i also think its important to have backup or a young player that can work under and close with wade so we have a genuine replacement when he goes

My point exactly!!! all players get injuries some worse than others... age is just a number nowadays to these super fit guys who can play on well into their 30s if they look after themselves well
Wades had two average matches but so has the whole team so not to bothered....

The question about him only came up yesterday regarding his current form. I voiced concerns on his age and injuries when we signed him.

For me i cant wait to see McKinnon/Seymour/Heremaia play for FC next year as they form what will be a completely new heart of the team. Chuck in Horne, Houghton and Ellis and i think we have exciting times ahead.

Nobody in their right mind will be signing for them including Horne. Theyve proper blown it with the way they treat their players and now even the saviour and god Morgan is being slagged off. Rovers recent rennaissance is over and they will spend most of their time in the bottom six over the next few years imo.

But you know if you sign for them, that whatever you do wrong on or off the field is that you know you won't be getting sacked ala Ben Cockayne

Exactly. Theyve now blown in it the overseas market and nobody other than journey men will sign for them. Oh how theyed love to sign a player of Mckinons quality and he is despite having a couple of off games

No great loss imo but then theyed have to release someone unless Grudge has a way off ignoring the rules agin though we saw how that worked out with Mason.

Phelps is a good player and would be a good signing for them. I'm not sure who else is available at full back. Matty Blaymire may be an option, but he isn't the best of fullbacks.

Anyways enough of KR. As I've said before, Wade will be a really good signing for us and will add another dimension to our attack.

No mate, i just like the look of the new side. The only issue is will Agar be able to gel them into proper contenders. On previous form the answer is a big no but were stuck with him till the middle of next season at least so we can but hope.
