Talk about going from one extreme to another. It'd be an absolutely clueless decision to resign Long as a player. |

I read somewhere,that Long was willing to accept a pay-as-you-play deal,but also joining the coaching staff,plus all these choices in the pivots.....have we not complained about a lack of quality cover in these positions?? Hudds and Saints have shown this year that plenty of choice is essential.

yes but in our case the amount cover in the halves would be at the expense of cover in the forwards. remember we have been VERY lucky this year in terms of injuries (bar Sean Long) |

for years FC fans have bittched about no real covr now they have plenty, they bittch again
yes we will possibly loose one or two forwards, but who will replace them ???? someone will or are we now saying that the point of the new system is not to give youth the chance to come through the ranks ??
why would we loose Obst ?? its down to him our season turned around in part?/ |
