The position of hooker in name is finished.It just another half back position.
I can see clubs going for a speedy player at 9 to exploit gaps with pace from the acting half.

Its a position that would suit Shaul.Short passing from acting half,plenty of running and in a more forward position to back up other breaks.
Tackling now is always in twos or threes so you dont necessarily need a tackle machine like Houghton.
It wont happen but i would not be bothered to lose Houghton next season to give Shaul a run at 9 and move Wynne to full back

I’ve seen some fabulous sixes playing for us, Albert is right up there as one of the best, he’s been tremendous at times, magical player at his best, and a privilege to have witnessed his performances, big boots to fill for Jake.
