If the stuff about cap space is true, explains a lot about why they seem to be trying to force him out, and further confirms that it is almost certain that he will be leaving. If they can't afford to replace him, it seems to follow that they can't afford to keep him either.

also there is a side to this that say this guy has been treated really badly and placed in a dreadful position for both him and his family.... lets hope he views it as a chance to tour Europe and his family to experience it rather than a no choice situation

| If Princey new what he was doing to us all here, he'd sign it pronto. This is torture.
Can't someone just tell him we already love him and stuff ?

| prince was a name i was keen for us to be linked with way befor we was, but i must confess i didnt realised his age, but maybe thats just what we need right now. lots of other teams rely so heavily on their veterans such as Leeds and Warrington. we have often been foolish and sometimes unlucky in signing blokes with high mileage, but fitzgibbon was a legend in two short years and id happily have had him for a third.

Starting to look good, althought there is no way Crookes will be before lineham and pitts before galea, also expect four props in the 17, not Pitts who isn't big enough for the prop position IMO.

Looks like it really could be happening
If it comes off, I'd leave him out of the KR friendly, look what happened to Aaron Heremaia. Would expect him to want to play though.

We've all got different opinions pal, Some say Westerman over Whiting, I prefer Whiting.
I think Lineham will be a great winger, can't see him getting pushed into first team just yet tho... Maybe wrong.
I liked Pitts when he played and after reading the article on him the other day he wants to put some beef on and play Prop. Galea and Johnson will both get plenty of game time I'm sure.

I hope (and expect) he will be a starting winger next year (instead of Crookes). He got thrown in last season and came up with 4 trys from 4 games. With a good per-season under his belt and having a half back pairing that will be able to spread the ball wider more often/quicker, I see no reason why he can't continue a try scoring ratio like that. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of the young lad!

| If we get Prince we are looking seriously good for 2013! The quality and depth we have in the squad now is so far ahead of last year. Having the likes of Horne, Seymour, Whiting and Westerman pushing for a place in the starting 13 rather than been shoe ins, shows just how good our recruitment has been. Then you have the likes of Crooks, Lineham, and Green who will be a million times better off after a full pre season and the experience they've gained this year.
A specialist full back, a pacey 3/4 line, two quality half backs, and great strength in depth in the pack gives Gentle all the tools that he needs. Exciting.

| Assuming Prince comes, and you have got to assume that the delay is all about sorting out his severance from the Titans, since he loses his bargaining power if he appears too keen to go to Hull, then what happens to Seymour do you just keep him (is there a quota issue there?) or will he just be paid off, since he appears to have a chronic injury that makes a move elsewhere difficult?
I realise that is probably the least of your worries if you get Prince on board.

| Wonder if it was the titans who alerted us to prince's availability?
Dunno who is negotiating the deals, but It's good work to bring in holdsworth, ellis and prince for the players we have lost

FFS Give Crookes a chance. Why are people writing him off?
I hope he proves people wrong next season like Aspinwall and McGoldrick did this season.

| Apart from his goal kicking , I find Foster to be a rather average SL player . He certainly isn't better than what we currently have for next season.

TBF, and in case I'd not mentioned it, I was right about McGoldrick.
No offence to Crookes, but I think Lineham looks the part and have high hopes for him. Will be good to see them contesting that spot.

I have sat back and watched all this on here but doesn't anyone listen to Pearson when he said on Wednesday to sign Prince would 'blow our cap out of the water' we can't afford anyone else, much as I would have Foster over another of our new signings it aint gonna happen get real here, we might even have to let someone go, we can't have it all ways!! This isn't the early 80's there is a cap in place. Prince would be a massive drawing card, (see season ticket sales on the back of the posssiblity of him coming) a great half back (read what the discerning Aussie Press say about his impact on Super League) and a sign that we have arrived as a top Club again (the Dobbins are Cra**ing themselves) but we have to work to the Cap!! If he doesn't sign and that still aint certain by a long way, then we can sign Foster if you like but for the present we are stretched to the limit!!!!

I'm not writing him off. I'm all for him coming.
Just that after watching Foster last season, His goal kicking helped us out greatly and finished off some good tries.
It was good seeing him play for us.
But that's my opinion and given our injury record. Just hope crooks stays injury fit.

I wasn't saying we were signing him.
I said, Maybe we could of tempted foster if we hadn't already signed Crookes. But this doesn't mean i'm dissing Crookes as people think. I just think Foster is a good player and brings extra options within the GK department. Not seen much of crookes but looking forward to it.
