If it is Mckinnon staying, surely it would be a no brainer to keep Phelps.

Given the state of the transfer market and the obvious lack of talent within it, hanging to to players is maybe a wise move. We need players to bulk out the squad to cover for injuries keeping known players is not such a gamble as say taking on a player from Sheffield or York.

They don't play alot of one out rugby and always have two runners, rather than one runner who is easy for the defence to take care of.

Runners and quick play the balls is what we'll have next season with alot of support play.

Well I wouldn't be offering a new deal to Dowes but I'd he'd be more suited to the Wests style of playing to the one we've been enjoying under Agar.

It wouldn't surprise if it was McKinnon not because of a falling out with Gentle but more to do with Wests losing Moltzen who was probably the reason he got a early release.
